What the fuck Liberals?!?!?!

#1

Post by Bot »

I posted this on my LJ and Blogger... I thought I'd post it here as well... what the hell. lol

"The current election campaign has made me realize something.

No doubt about it, American is a polarized country. Canada is slowly becoming a polarized country as well.

Whose fault is it, though? If you ask a Liberal he†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢ll answer immediately, †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“The Neo-Cons.†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬?

First, what the fuck is a †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¹¢‚¬¦¢¢¬…œneo-con?†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢

Have you ever noticed it†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s the Liberals using all these buzzwords? Neo-Con, Ultra Conservative, Fascist, Dictator, War Criminal etc.

It†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s almost like they think if they use Fascist or Neo-Con in a sentence, they†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢ll sound smart. No. You just sound ignorant. The fact of the matter is George W Bush is not a Fascist, and neither is Stephen Harper. Call them idiots, call them terrible leaders; I don†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢t care; just don†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢t call them Fascist because it only shows your ignorance.

It seems if you†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢re a Liberal, you†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢re unable to see both sides of the spectrum.

I can tell you what I like about the Conservatives, Liberals, and NDP. Ask a Liberal what he likes about the Conservatives and you get a blank stare.

North America is a polarized continent, but not because of the Conservatives. The fault lies solely with the Liberals.

They†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢re the group spreading hatred, and yes, I mean hatred. The way Liberals are talking in this campaign, they make it sound as if Armageddon will be upon us if the Conservative party wins.

It truly is disgusting. You have Liberals calling the Liberal party the natural ruling party of Canada. I hear that and I want to puke. If the Liberals are the †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬‚¦‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦¢‚¬Å“natural ruling party,†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬? why do we bother having elections?

Do they not realize how ridiculous that statement is? Do they not realize how DICTATORIAL that statement is?

I seriously hope this new wave of Liberal bullshit passes soon. It†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢s not doing much to fix the political crisis we have right now."

Liberals like repeating slogans...not necessarily elaborating on what exactly they are trying to convey, let alone "fix". Conservatives behave like sheep, regardless of the shepherd. Liberals are consistently disillusioned and pathetically confused and powerless, aside from catchy bumper stickers. Conservatives are perpetually recalling "American Values" of some weird Norman Rockwell past like bizarre, †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬ ¢¢¬¢ž¢†™¢¢¬…¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¼ber-white hippies that apparently peaked in their high school debate teams. As far as Liberals being "the group spreading hatred", well, I don't know what the situation is in Canada, really.

From what I've seen, the one thing the Liberals spread is collective lazyness and discontent, which I think is even worse, if it were hatred, you'd probably see actual EFFORT.

QUOTEThe fault lies solely with the Liberals.

Honestly, that might be the best illustration of ignorance in your post.

While I don't necessarily disagree with some of your points, you're doing exactly what you condemn.

Perhaps that line is a little strong; I wrote it when I was frustrated. However, I would say that the fault lies more with the Liberals than the Conservatives, but the Conservatives do deserve some of the blame.

If you listen to the way the Canadian PM speaks, he makes it sound like the American Republicans are evil, and that the Canadian Conservatives will be the exact same.

Now, Stephen Harper, leader of the Conservatives, has yet to make such a statement against the Liberals. Right now it's the Liberals who are driving a wedge between the two groups.

The Conservatives in Canada want a Conservative government because we've had a Liberal one for the last 13 years. However, most Conservatives will admit that they do not want to see the Liberal party completely obliterated. They understand that the party brings something to the table.

When Liberals make statements like, "the Liberals are the natural ruling party of Canada," well, it's hard to believe that they view the Conservatives in a similar respect.

ike90,

while Kramer's ignorance may still be for debate (jk) I think your statement needs a bit more of a refute than "uh-uh"

I agree with Kramer to a strong degree about this, though I really raise my eyebrows about his socialist sentiments). As an american, I have seen that moderates are far more pressured by liberals who often have no clue what nonsense they are harping. It tends to push the people in the "gee, i wish we could have a non-partisan government" into a conclusion they either have to go to one extreme or the other,.. and the conservative tend to get more of the stragglers.

When i refused on principle to vote in the last presidential election (California would NEVER EVER let some of their electorial votes represent the contingency of Californians who voted for Bush, or another candidate besides Kerry) the conservative, said "that is your right. you should vote."

the liberals said "WHAT?!?!?!?!? YOU blahblahblah" and proceeded to immediately make it about their issues, not my political sentiments.

When I spontaneously participated in a silent candlelit vigil in the SF financial district to protest the abuse of muslims in America right after 9-11 I happened to see, it was sincere, silent, and candlelit. We stood their (I helped light the candles and hung the banner) the silence lasted for like 45 minutes, and only gentle smiles were exchanged after we set up. Passers by stopped, some joined - others looked confused and hurt, unsure what to believe. Then, liberals decided to show up, and declare their own agendas, lay down acting dead, and finding chants that rhymed (No blood for oil on foreign soil became the cadence that lasted longest.) Then a few girls showed up and began to protest herding muslims into internement camps, by invoking the memory of Japanese in WWII with signs of the skulls found at those camps. Then some guys began to preach to the people smoking in the cold night air as they passed about their OWN *terrorism*, and eventually everyone disbanded except them.

When we left, it was literally down to where they were protesting blood for oil, animal cruelty, big tobacco, and the old navy across the street, as they pointed out we shouldn't treat muslims (or chickens) with cruelty.

I walked away a little more conservative that day... and knew it was time to leave California.

Why do you say his statement is ignorant? How are you non-bipartisan stances treated. In america, they tend to be treated as people who won't vote for the lead democrat. I was told by a liberal, that since I did not vote for Kerry, Muslim blood was on my hands. He just looked at me blankly when I tried to explain "electoral votes."

vertical,

I go to a website called Politics Canada; it's a popular political site in Canada.

It's also the reason why I wrote the above post. With the Liberal party now far behind the Conservative party in the polls, it seems the Liberals are nastier than usual. One of the latest comments made by a Liberal: "And the Conservatives are a bunch of bigotted theocon greed mongering jingoists."

Can someone please explain to me what the fuck that even means?

God I'm ignorant...

Kramer, I have a request of you...

If you could be so kind as to forumulate a post of commonly used political terms, that I may engage in these discussions myself, I would be more than happy give you a cookie...Traditionally, I don't like politics, but some of the best minds here are passionate about it...I think I need to get at least slightly interested in it...

So, excuse my troll...Just trying to find my way...Thanks for your time, hope you guys can come up with a good "Politics for Dummies" post for my ass...

That is all... :tur:
