"Kelly also made other students throw crumpled up paper at Vannoy, whom he called a "stinking Denver fan," Vannoy told The Associated Press on Monday."

QUOTE"If he felt uncomfortable, then that's a lesson; that's what [the class] is designed to do," Kelly told The Denver Post. "It was silly fun. I can't believe he was upset."

Come on, high school is bad enough on kids for a teacher to be doing this too. If a teacher did this to my kid I'd do whatever I could to make sure he was fired.

You really think a kid would really be wearing a *BRONCOS* shirt to a PA school if he wouldn't looking to start something?

He says he wore it for Elway... maybe he OWNS it for Elway, but he wore it to stand out. Elway ain't even playing...

And that teacher taught him a vauable lesson,.. standing out isn't always a good thing. shame he had to learn it that way.

I live in Ohio and you won't catch me dead wearing a Bengals, Browns or OSU jersey. Where you live has nothing to do with what team you should like according to an asshole teacher.

So what, we can't wear Steve Young, Barry Sanders, or Jerry Rice jerseys? Once they retire you are no longer allwed to wear their jersey?

No, the wearing Broncos thing isn't about standing out. It's about being yourself. Standing out can get you a $100,000 annual salary. Being the norm can get you a job as a janitor.

He's still a little cry baby to me...

Sports are bent around bantering and jeering...Obviously, this is probably one of the cooler teachers in school, acts that way all the time, and little fatso here probably is ruining the fun for the other students cause he feels like his feelings are hurt...A kid that old, come on now...

When I was 17, I would have told my teacher to kiss my ass had he told me to sit on the floor, and dared him to make me...But I wouldn't have cried about it...Shit, my coaches have said and done FAR worse shit than this...Now, I could see this being an issue if this was a young kid, but c'mon man...This fucker is grown...He knew what he was doing...Wearing that tight ass jersey...Look at that damn smug look on his mug...

That hair...Man, that is a future moron if I've ever seen one...LMFAO @ "I'm telling..!"

Damn strait A.....the problem nowdays it seems is that kids are pussies and society encourages them to be that way. I read shit like this and it just pisses me off...instead of this whiner realizing that his teacher put him in a position to give some shit back to her, he decided it would be better to run to mommy and tell......christ man....we're going downhill quick.

Fuck, I can only begin to imagine how that would have gone down in my house, with my dad......something like..."You mean you wore that jersey to school, to stand out....to be different.....to be a rebel and when you got called on it, you didn't have the balls to deal with it then and there?"......followed by continuous laughter...

jdog,

its not about WHAT he wore,.. its about WHEN he wore WHAT he wore WHERE he wore it.

WHEN
two days before the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Broncos 34-17 in the AFC championship game, his friday semester exam.

WHERE
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. in his ethnicity class. 31 miles west of Pittsburgh. (where Mr. Belvedere was supposed to be.)

WHAT
for wearing a Denver Broncos jersey.

NOW: What was the focus of the class? Ethnic relations... the semester focus was on minority persecution. A black teacher, who is a pinnacle of his community in the African american jazz preservation efforts and a full contributing member of the National Communcation Association took a real-life example or persecution... and played it out like sports fans always do.

MAYBE, just MAYBE...

My highschool experience was so bad that I wish all a teacher did was drop me on the floor and throw paper at me.

but if this kid can't take a test when paper is being thrown at him, he will never be able to handle real life stress.

I like how he said "now it got out to the media, he wants out." See, I seen 15 places where he has been interviewed about it, and he is the one who released to original story. Why do I feel maybe this kid didn't like that Ethnicities class in the first place, and maybe even had a previous beef with this teacher...?
