Ok, I got this game yesterday and up untill now the game seems ok. Despite the voice sync in the in game movies kinda sucks and the movies are way to long compared to the 1st Metal Gear solid but the game still rocks.
Set in the jungle, in the year 1960's , without a radar, working through the jungle to complete your mission as the 1st snake you can see where the characters in "metal gear solid " all came from. Although that chick on the codec talks a little bit too much about movies and shit but the overall message of the game is against nuclear weapons.
You have to come down to conventional approach of warfare with CQC fight techniques... able to camo in the jungle against enemy patrol and going through places without being noticed and catching food in the jungle to replenish your stamia and everything. Its a long game and requires a lot of attention to little details. For example which gear you have on, how your face is painted.
Along with that, the in game movies are off the hingess in animation and gives real info about the evens in the past and in that decade too.
Anyone else play this game or play metal gear solid 1 or 2?
