NOD32 is not free.

I had no reason to change, so I haven't looked for anything new in about a year and a half either.

I googled "NOD32 vs AVG" and ran across this page http://www.techsupportalert.com/free-vs-paid-av.htm

The page seems to be a bit old though (march 05).

If anyone wants to put the latest versions of the AV packages to the test it would help us all.

Well, my Norton just expired, and I don't feel like dropping $50 to renew it, so I'm giving AVG a try. I need something because there's something kicking the shit out of my comp right now...
