Aside from the standard (physical activity engaged in for pleasure) definition, I feel anything that must be practiced for, and worked towards, is a sport...Especially if it requires physical exertion of any kind, is a sport...So, whatever it is you do to prepare for game time, as long as you make it to game time, its a sport...In my eyes, physical contact is not necessary...

I am pretty sure that there is more to body building that just standing there..To win Mr. Olympia, you go against other men in the world, that's a big stage...I'd say its plenty competiion...As far as physical exertion goes...

Have you ever tried to flex and sustain every single muscle in your body while standing still, without shaking, etc..? Those guys are moving muscles you and I probably dont' realize exist...

I think I'd rather shoot jumpshots...

See.....I'm not saying it's not hard to compete at that level.......I can understand the action of getting to that stage as a sport (Power Lifting or something), but in my mind....The art of building up your body....is a sport.....but after it's built...and you're just standing there flexing...is more of a showcase.....it's the trophey session.....not the game in progress......

So I guess the whole art is a sport.....

Ha, good point Mr. Ayhja...I mean, I bodybuild myself, and when I tell my brother to take me pics...damn..."Flexing" on it's own is a lot of work, it's not easy..!

LoL...I was just talking shit...I always make fun of muscle guys with tight shirts and shit on, but if I was buff, I'd probably be doing that same thing...There is no way I'd own a pair of undewear if I was packin' heat like John Holmes, so...Let me shut up, LoL...
