In the hands of a competent coder, your issues with Firefox could be worked out in no time...The great thing about Firefox, as with all open source softwares, is that you (if you know what you're doing) can make it behave you like you want it to...

Defend IE all you want...But that shit is trash...Glad it helps you do jobs...But, it's trash...

I've never seen a browser prevent you from doing normal shit, like...Seeing a text link...A .png image without that little grey box around it...IE is like the Darth Vader of browsers...A shade of something else, and requires a gang of other shit to keep it going...But, it is good in some respects...When I can think of one, I'll let you guys know...

Wrong again Kimosabe. See, that's a savage way of thinking about it.

IF there were compotent coders at ALL 400+ FERC governed Power Generators and Marketers, firefox would still be useless unless no less than 15 government agencies ALSO had said competent coders. And the advantage would be what? Nothing of material value, and a lack of consolidated quality assurance would be impossible to manage.

QUOTEDefend IE all you want...But that shit is trash...Glad it helps you do jobs...But, it's trash...

I am not defending it. Even aside from all of this, I still prefer the stability of IE, which ON MY MACHINE and FOR MY PURPOSES is far more stable. I do not need to defend it. I am not a browser guru. I don't need to be. IE works for me.

I have never seen IE prevent this. but maybe I don't get around much.

I can find examples of this right here on the forum...

<--------------- Probably has a white box around it in IE...

And not seeing links...

One of the many, many issues I kept seeing that prompted me to even start this topic...

don't use avatars at work, but clicked on your link, and saw the fox in your member profile - BTW: no white box,

saw the nsfw link, but can't follow it at work.

no problem here. nothing to fix in non-augmented IE, with no extensions or addins.
