Trust can effect a LDR quite a bit. Without trust in any relationship, long distance or not, there won't be much of a relationship. Just arguing and fighting over stupid crap...what I like to call "drama". Women, whether they admit it or not, are highly clingy. They usually need a man there for them.
It's like my best friend, he's in Germany right now. His woman lives here in Ohio. She's pretty much moved on and found another man while she leaves my friend hanging on by strings and shit. I wish she'd just tell him it's over. I hate knowing my friend still gives a shit about her. He's so madly in love and crap. I wish I could just tell him that his woman's a two faced cunt that isn't worth a second of his time.

The nice thing about a LDR is that you can determine if it is based on love or infatuation. I can promise you a LDR won't more than a month if it is based on infatuation (assumed that you don't see each other during that month..). I met this girl a few years back from the midwest, and we uhh, enjoyed each other during the week or so that I was there. It was 99% infatuation, and after a month we sure as hell werent talkin on the phone every few days. But ironically enough, we stayed in touch and over time the relationship has developed into one of 99% love. We are really close friends, despite the distance..Just my 2 cents
