Man, I use a program called EO Video...

It will EASILY join files of all kinds and types, includes a clip viewer, and an explorer like program...It also does a bit of encoding and everything...Very good swiss army app...

I've had success in the past with HJ SPlit ...its free and worth a try.

feh, but my recommendation came with a super stealthy trial period workaround hack and a free mpeg2 encoder!

Oh well, its good for the rest of us to know, and TmpegEnc is a VERY neato mpeg2 encoder, so, Good work on that..!
