I loved that show. Looks like a movie is in the works for it. Probably straight to DVD like the Family Guy movie was.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0471711/

Also Comedy Central will start airing the reruns of it in 2008,supposedly during prime time, when Cartoon Networks contract ends.

LOL. It ran for like 5 seasons, 99-03 I think on Fox. It was created by Matt Groening, the guy who made the Simpsons. I think it ranks right up there with Family Guy.

QUOTEFuturama, set in the next millennium, follows the exploits of Fry, a pizza delivery boy who was cryogenically frozen by accident for 1,000 years; Leela, a female cyclops; Bender, an immoral robot, and others as they work for an intergalactic delivery service owned by Fry's great, great, great... nephew, Professor Farnsworth.

Futurama has also spawned a highly successful comic series, Futurama Comics which will be going into its fourth year this January. They have fifteen issues out in stores, with a new one coming out soon. They also have a two-part comic special titled \"Futurama/Simpsons Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis\" which is a crossover between Futurama and Matt Groening's other creation, The Simpsons. Both parts are out in bookstores.

Groening says he's lobbying FOX all the time to bring it back. It had a big viewership, but FOX killed it the usual way by changing the time slot all the time
