You can bet I'll be watching this debate tomorrow. It should be a close vote. The current Parliament looks like this: Conservatives 125 seats, Liberals 103 seats, Bloc 51 seats, NDP 29 seats.
I know the NDP will probably vote against the bill, but you can bet every Conservative will be voting in favour. All the Conservatives need is 155 votes. They should be able to get those votes from some of the Bloc and Liberal MPs.

A lot of the articles I've been reading are saying 15-16. I figured it was more because of the four Canadians that were killed by the American plane, but I'm guessing those guys are being counted in the 15-16 number.
It may not seem like a lot, but when is the last time Canada was engaged in a major conflict? Sure, we've done some peacekeeping missions where the sides were shelling us... but I don't think we've been in anything like Afghanistan in a long while.
That's why so many Canadians these days are becoming more and more uneasy about the mission. Personally I think we should stay. Fucking Liberal governments have hammered the idea that Canada is a peacekeeping nation into the heads of so many Canadians... it's sad...
