Dr. Dre...Is the top rapper of all time..? Hip Hop heads everywhere, probably even Dre himself, would spite you for saying that...

These are not in order...

Eminem, Tupac, B.I.G., Nas, NWA (I know it's not just one rapper.. but they still were awesome)

This dude NEEDS to get off Dre's NUTS....he's the best rapper and the best producer...i bet he's your role model...which is kinda cute dont get me wrong.....but lets be serious

honorable mention Big Pun for a 550lb+ monster...his breath control was amazing and he spit a lot of real shit...his flow was pretty sick too.

hell no Buff. I like BB's picks. Sounds about right. Talib is the man A
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard

I haven't listened to Mos Def enough, but will add him to my Ipod and let you know what I think soon... I'm also brand new to Ded Prez and loving them...

Alright..order depends on my mood

Immortal Technique -- Nastiest, craziest, and one of the most thoughtful cats out there
Copywrite -- Good flow, versatile, nice lyrics
Jay-Z -- Just the way he does rap...that's all I have to say..
Eminem -- Yea, he sold out more, but listen to the Marshal Mathers LP and you will have to admit
that Atmosphere and Aesop Rock (whom I both like as well) have not spit on his level
Chino XL -- Most clever I have ever heard, ridiculous mastery of the English language

Honorable Mention -- Brother Ali, Talib Kweli (very close to making the list, doesn't quite have a good enough voice
on most of his tracks, but very very thought provoking and intelligent dude), De La Soul, Pac, Biggie, Dre,
Vakill, I'm sure I'm forgetting some...
