Windows vs Linux vs Mac

OK, I just wanna see who actually listened to my communist blabber..

What do you prefer, and why..?
(also, if you dual-boot - which OSes)

Me? I dual-boot Linux and Windows..
Why? Let's use the Canada and US analogy.. wait, bad idea..

OK, lets say there's a country called LinuxLand, and only 5 people lived in it. Lots of land, great facilites, but real boring seeing as there's only 5 people in it. However, right next door is WindowsWorld. Lots and lots of people, but crap facilites and about the same land. Sorta like Russia, incl the communism.. lol (if you don't belive me, check out how Microsoft paid people to write things for their Get The Facts campaign).

Now, there's a bus that goes between the two places every day twice a day. What would you do..? /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" />

If I knew how to use Linux, I'd do exactly as you do.

Right now I'm kickin' Windoze along with my steel-capped boot along the road....

Until I can get my own proper decent machine and learn Linux, that's all I can do.

"Windows is SHIT, Macs are GAY."

I use all three and each has their strengths, so I'm not voting. But tell your "computer doctor" friend to stop being opinionated and biased. Linux has its fair share of weaknesses as well.

instead of radio buttons those should be check boxes because I also use more then one OS quite frequently:

QNX
Windows XP
Windows 2000
Vector Linux
Kanotix64

and to answer the query who.am.i posed regarding the bus, I would decomission the bus so that it would not keep coming back, thereby increasing the likelihood that some of the asshats from WindowsWorld would come to my nice tranquil little sanctuary and bring their McWal-Coca-Soft plague with them.

WHAT A DIFFICULT THREAD!!!!

I have a pc with Windows xp (modify by my without wmp, ie windows firewall etc.)
I have another pc with linux
and a ibook 300 tengerine with panther...

Windows is shit...but if you mod it well it can be used almost well and it is a MUST for a gamer like me...
linux is stable and secure but very hard for a newbe..

MAC is the BEST...fast, secure and REALLY REALLY EASY to use....

Windows is all I know, I feel crazy comfortable with it, and like its been said, when tweaked, it is by far the most versatile of them all...

I prefer Windows cause I've used it all my life, only thing I know, most versatile as AYHJA says, and also the one that has the MOST amount of programs that work on it...
