"In only his second year in the NFL, Roethlisberger helped guide the Steelers to the Super Bowl championship last season."

What a fucking shame... Hopefully he pulls through all right. I kind of liked him. It'd suck to see him gone now.

Dang...that really sucks. I heard that it isn't going to be a life-threatening injury which is awesome news. I hope he'll be good enough for the season

I've seen too many people hurt in motorcycle accidents. I was in a motorcycle accident that totaled the bike and I didn't get a scratch! But I still wear my helmet everytime I ride.

I hope Ben is ok, because he is a damn good young quarterback.

Really sad to hear this.. But glad he'll be ok in the end.

I just dont get why these dudes wont wear a helmet.. I wont even think about leaving home without my helmet. Too many possibilities for accidents...

That was kind of dumb on his part if he didn't wear a helmet. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson now. You don't get many chances...

He is and hopefully this will knock some sense into him. Pittsburgh needs him and it would be a crushing blow if he wasn't available this year. Last I've heard is that he has a broken jaw and is in serious but stable condition.
