I'm sorry for my vote
My guy Alec Baldwin needs to be cleared by a shrink, maybe they could team up as Kerry/Baldwin '08. It's catchy.
Kerry/Baldwin in '08. You think Clinton/Gore is bad, you haven't seen anything yet.
Looks like John Kerry is going to run in '08

Kerry's service record is not the issue.
He was a veteran, and played up his involvement abit, just like most vets do. It is the only way alot of them can make sense of their service. But the fact is, he got three purple hearts, keep his sails at the wind, and did what a human in a fire fight tries to do,.. get the heck outta dodge. I have no beef with him for that. I have heard some much taller tales from vets, and still bought them a drink to hear the ending.
What I truly despise is he ran for two offices at once. He was actively seeking a political position in two different branches which are supposed to be exclusionary to the functions of one another. That, to me, is not what you do when you have a job YOU MUST DO, it is what you do when you are just looking for ANY job, and are looking for the best opportunity.

Alec Baldwin did a pilot for a radio show, for the local WPHT talk radio. OMG it was so funny I almost had to buy my employer a new laptop!

In my opinion, Kerry played up on his Vietnam service too much. I mean, shit, guy walked up to the podium and said, "My name is John Kerry, and I'm reporting for duty." If you listened real carefully you could hear the death knell of his campaign. lol

It actually was a smart idea by him though. Yea, he may have played it a little too much but for good reason. Vets who run for office almost always get in. Americans love the soldiers who defend our country abroad and then come back to lead here. I still hate the guy. I think he would have made a horrible President but he was clever in using this as part of his campaign
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

i think his exaggeration of his veteran status is hardly the largest reason he is unsuitable for the presidential office.
