better yet, this is the kind of treat Israel gets in the media of Palestine.

The following is the story in the PA official daily, which is under the control of the office of Mahmoud Abbas:

QUOTE"The enemy committed its attacks on Gaza and killed its victims . My friend, the sculptor and painter, Fayiz Al-Sarsawy, went to one of the bombing sites... to collect the shrapnel of death that the crazed bombing left in order to make a statue of the Palestinian suffering. A friend who assists him would clean the shrapnel...

That night Fayiz received a unsettling call from his friend who assists him: "I am talking to you from the hospital and I'm asking you not to touch the shrapnel you've collected." An infection had formed on the hand of this friend and spread to what looked like burn marks on his skin. When he touched sensitive areas in his body a suspicious swelling appeared.

Experts arrived and took samples of the shrapnel. Later, they asked for all the shrapnel and explained: The shrapnel was treated with some form of depleted uranium, that releases slow and dangerous radiation.

This is not a movie from imagination of Rambo, but actual reality. The shrapnel exists and can be shown to anyone interested. Yassir Arafat warned us of the existence of Depleted Uranium in the Israeli shrapnel, and the army uses Napalm."
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 12, 2006]

Seriously, Brains: Here is some sentiments of the Polls by palestinian media sources, which you no doubt know being you comb the media for the Israel-palestine news.

QUOTE"72% of the children sampled from all the districts of Gaza expressed the hope of becoming Shahids in the confrontations..."

[PA official daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 18, 2002]

QUOTE"I swear to you by all that I hold dear that I will purify your land†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™¢¢¬…¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¦ For your land we will die, we shall advance to Shahada in groups!" [10th grade boy reads a poem, PATV, August 23, 2002]

QUOTE"No child loves death. The children of Palestine have accepted the concept that this is Shahada, and that death by Shahada is very good. Every Palestinian child aged, say 12, says †™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢Oh Lord, I would like to become a Shahid." so, as you can see many (and in fact the majority of) children in Palestine are far from innocent. Hopefully the whole damn country isn't like that. and Yes, some of it is due to Israeli aggression. but Israel has a new leader commited to dropping weight and fixing borders. and he will.

why isn't palestine putting anything on the TV's about peace. You know the 111 truckload of TV's that were shipped into Palestine to watch the world cup while they are essentially penniless?

this country must mature... or it will not last.

but that will probably be a long time coming, until then, let's look and see what HAMAS has to say to the kiddies:

oh, you didn't know. They have a site just for the children! you can go look at the pretty squiggles at www.al-fateh.net

They even have a "Shahad of the Day" for the kids to admire. (though it doesn't change every day)

Right now, its "Mother of Scorpions." She is a resistance fighter who died fighting against the "Colonial Oppressors" who hold hundred of her fellow commandos in prisons. She kills four enemy soldiers, and takes herself out with the fifth. That happened in the "Valley of the Cross Eye", indicating she was probably a sniper.

What a happy picture: http://www.al-fateh.net/fa-78/umm.htm

They also have a section called "Children of the Stones" which is a daily photo essay of the children wounded and killed in battle; let's ignore for a fact some days have the same pictures.,.. which of course indicated they are inflating the number of casualties.

or better yet, turn to their guestbook, and check it out. what a happy collage that is, with a kid with a diploma, a toddler dressed in commando gear, and in the center,.. WOW! picture of a kid recieving a AR-15. All the while his elder looks on in sheer utter Joy!

oh, and 13th kid down (from the point i'm writing this)

grey jacket, white shirt. His parents were nice enough to name him "Horseman of Osama". He's from Syria, and about to turn 5 years old! that means he was born in hmm,.. what happened 5 years ago in 2001? Where do I know that name Osama from? What's the significance of a Horseman, again?

agreed, on all accounts:

and I didn't even mention the tv spots encouraging kids to rally around terrorists, and to throw stones.

I really tripped when in the spot, the stone in the little boys hand turned into an assault rifle. what a crock.

almost as much as the kids playing "The Shahid Game" arguing over who gets to die for the cause. The seven year old argues he gets to die this time, because he's the youngest. Then the other kids hold him a mock funeral, and when he gets up, they all act like they are in Paradise, and the jews are all dead.

heck, and we just played freeze tag...

---

by the way, FYI, a "shahid" is a person who dies waging jihad. it is a term used for suicide bombers.

so, what do you think these kids are going to be when they grow up?

Seriously Brains... that was the dumbest comment you could have made, and it just leads me to believe that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You need to pick up a history book, man. Do a little research.

Brains, what's up with your left wing crap?

This quote "hmm. raum and kramer. seems like HRW DOES know a thing or two about ballistics. Israel could still as well be responsible. " is fucking funny. You need to get with the program, the US military is famous for sending cruise missles at targets and than later claim that it went a foul, just ask China or Iran. This tactic is nothing new, this crap on the beach is just that, crap. The Arab's know damn well that if you accuse the United States or our Allies of some evil act, our media will take it hook and sinker no matter if there wasn't evidence or not. If Hamas wasn't messing around, these people that your here crying about would still be alive. The Arab street only uses Palestine as an excuse to attack Westerners.

QUOTE(raum)QUOTEa boycot because they do not verbally say what Israel wants

ok, do you really think that is the issue?

How about you say, "they would not renounce the actual verbatim tenet in their founding documents that calls for the destruction of Israel, even if it requires the death of every Jew. How about you say, they hemmed and hawed about peace with their neighbors, at the same time they would never say they considered Israel a neighbor, which by their tenets carries no HAMAS obligation of Peace between Israel and Palestine."

Here is their own words (in translation) http://www.mideastweb.org/hamas.htm

Here are some of the sentiments they ARE FOUNDED UPON, verbatim in their Charter, regarding Jews and Israel:

QUOTE"Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."

"The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. "

"There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."

(This is from mideastweb.org a group dedicated to promoting peace and coexistence of peoples in The Middle East, and unlike Human Rights Watch, mideastweb.org is NOT owned by George Soros.)

Here is an unabashed look at HAMAS in detail. and their design to abolish Israel, and reclaim all the lands called Palestine by the Romans, where all Jews, Christians, and Muslims can live, according to their station, under the supreme banner of Islam.

------------

They have recieved far more tolerance than they should be afforded.

for you this is clearly about who has guns and who is using them. for the world this is about whether a country can ruled by people who preach the destruction of other nations. If that is the world we live in now, i need to call the president, cause I got a list of places he can start with.

Let's raise a supreme banner of our own!

or, Brains, are you going to criticize me for saying that because I am a member of nation that could actually make good on such a proposal? Seems to me like, for you, its ok if these people just talk smack, and live in their racist and potentially genocidal delusion, because they are powerless to do anything about it. That is a sophistication that caused the Romans to be slaughtered by the Muslims. It has no place in dealing with Shahada Muhajidin, suicidal Muslim warriors, and you are evidentally blind to see that.

yeah. kramer. the comment you quoted indeed was dumb. really much so. but it is not my comment you quoted. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

bm, what I find funny is that you all believe Israel is not responsible, when there is still reasonable doubt to who is. I mean, that is the least you can say, no? note that I have not yet said that Israel IS responsible; i never said Israel is NOT responsible. I have not said Palestine is or isn't. There are doubts still, so I am not convinced by either side yet, while yu all seem to be already.

you call me saying left wing crap. i call you unfair and unbalanced.

Brains,

Do you think this is a fair fight?

Do you think you are fair?

Do you think life is fair?

----------

If this is about being fair,.. you approach this with more idiocy that you are accused of. Nature has never been fair.

All humans do not desire the same thing, then why should we all get the same thing. Our core being is not fair.

We will NEVER make this a fair fight. WE DON'T WANT ISLAMERICA, for the Muslims, by the Muslims.

In NO WAY is that a Democracy.

and that is the ultimate goal of extremists, even the nonviolent suppporters of a Permanently Islamic Governmental Body.

and they are USING liberalism and the media to wage war now they can't get on our planes.

---------

Brains, in which countries in the Middle East do you have freedom of religion? And by "freedom of religion" that is to say, FREEDOM TO PURSUE THE EXPERIENCE WITH THE DIVINE YOU FIND, BELIEVE, OBSERVE, OR SUSPECT TO HAVE CRUCIAL MEANING TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF WHO YOU ARE...

You are all about human rights and human decency,.. Which of your poor countries in the Middle East is sophisticated and confident enough in its own essential tenets to allow, say a Hindu Shivite Yogi to hold Kali-diksha ceremonies right on the same street as the mosque. In how many of these poor countries could that man find his happiness in his union with the divine

1 COUNTRY,.. ISRAEL.

Sure, you might have multiple choice in some of these "societies", but your choices are the ones that do not threaten the unquestioning dominant one, to which the only two other valid ones are considered second-class. That's not FREEDOM.

And if you didn't get the memo, FREEDOM IS THE RIGHT OF EVERY PERSON. And to me, Freedom of religion is the most crucial. The freedom to approach, study, and adhere to practices to reveal the nature of the divine in a personally transformable way is FOR ME why we are here on this planet. And the very fathers of the Nations that have in the past and currently define power on this planet felt the exact same way.

Be they the words of King Piyadasi of the once supreme India, or the words of words of Albert Einstein, they are summed perfectly in the words of a simple man responsible for wonderful things that still drive the course of humanity:

"Because religious belief, or non-belief, is such an important part of every person's life, freedom of religion affects every individual. Religious institutions that use government power in support of themselves and force their views on persons of other faiths, or of no faith, undermine all our civil rights. Moreover, state support of an established religion tends to make the clergy unresponsive to their own people, and leads to corruption within religion itself. Erecting the "wall of separation between church and state," therefore, is absolutely essential in a free society." - Thomas Jefferson

(oh! how he would cringe and writhe as under the gnashing of teeth to see what became of his Democratic party!!!)

as far as Palestine is concerned:

I could give a fuck if a city block of people born to be soldiers to campaign for denial of the most basic unalienable right are decimated when they are 40 years old, or 5 years old before they can learn to make a qassam. The problem is it is not easy to tell until you create a situation of desperation. I'd rather engineer that as humanely as possible. I'd prefer through education that they come to realize these rights are UNDENIABLE, for people inherently seek completion, but we are a LONG way from that. Furthermore, I have maintained that I do not believe terrestrial death is the end of it all. I have been dead three times, and yet I remain. There are those who wish to die for what they believe in. I will gladly oblige them all. even the children. That completion may be exactly what they need. and if not, than you PATRONIZE them and believe they are insincere in their beliefs, which are the ONLY conviction they display. and for me this is not about Muslims alone...

I am so in support of FREEDOM of RELIGION, I have signed petitions to allow people to willingly and consensually submit themselves as human sacrifices. If that is their conviction of union, they should be able to request LEGALLY the right to submit themselves to the role of a human sacrifice, just as these extremists do.

The reason for my bias is simple. These people support governments, if only through taxation, that would kill me for the only part of me that makes me feel TRULY complete. It is by evidence of my survival through three experiences of death not part of my religion to die. BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION, it is their most desired fate to die fighting.

Let the fight be brought to them. And let's answer their prayers, so that those of us who pray for peace, tolerance, longevity, and success and providence may enjoy it.

I guarantee you the tide would turn dramatically in ISLAMERICA if we approached this like a war and not an outreach.

Those of us who KNOW our IMMORTALITY do not fear our MORTALITY.

Brains, how many times have you openly denounced the Palestinian training of CHILDREN to go out and stand next to terrorists attacking Israel, so they may achieve shahid (and it can be pictured under a head-line?) How many times did you denounce the CARTOONS of shahid in Palestinian media? How many times did you ever criticize the Palestinians who may be escalating the terror with doctored footage of incidents?

Are the Israeli forces killing people not engaged in shahid? Unquestioningly, their attacks are cruel to civilians in many cases.
Does Palestinian shahid kill people not conscripted to defend Israel or attack it's enemies? Certainly, that is their aim.

Personally, I would love to see the people of Palestine persecute their own enemies of the state of israel, and foreigners who attack israel from within their borders.

but this war is about borders, and so it is a civil war, and that is the kind of war that tends to have the most collateral damage, because it is fought on the streets.

but so far as I see, you say Israel should stand down because Palestine shahid can't kill as many Israelis, due to having less military strength and funding. Because Israel has more capacity for damage, they should be less prone to act. i couldn't disagree with you more. Israel should completely FORCE Palestinians to take a stance either FOR or AGAINST shahid, regardless of age, and destroy the threat. Sorry, and i hate this, but many children in Palestine were BORN to die shahid, and it is all they will ever accept... and they are getting to be about that age. Those who truly do not desire to destroy Israal, and desire to coincide, will prevail. I have faith in the people of Palestine.

and yes, it would be brutal and horrific and completely uneccesary if it comes to a show of military strength. I have already told you I would completely starve the country of all electricity and fuel, even as I turned over their tarriffs and earnings to them. People lived without in the times cherished by muslims, and there is NO sharia provision for either. It offends no Muslim tenet to not supply their grid with ANY power. I do not take from them their freedom of religion, nor do I

And the only time it looked that was going to happen, it took precisely 14 minutes for them to begin to talk about peace with Israel,.. and no bullets flew, no missiles burst, and the media was bored stiff, cause all they could complain about was Palestine ran out of gas.

Yep, I would refuse to give them a single watt of energy, a drop of gas, a vapor of steam, or puff of smoke until the sign into effect IN THEIR CONSTITUTION to PERMAMENTLY RECOGNIZE ISRAEL AS A NEIGHBOR THAT PEACE MUST BE ACHIEVED WITH, AND REGARD ANY ATTACK ORIGINATING FROM PALESTINE GEOGRAPHY OR SENTIMENT AGAINST ISRAEL AS AN ATTACK AGAINST THE GLOBAL REPUTATION OF PALESTINE, PUNISHABLE BY DEATH FOR TREASON.

and let them decide, will they live in peace and light,.. or dwell in hatred and darkness?

That is the real choice of the People of Palestine, and they have yet to vote on that basis.

raum
