Would you rather have a President that ran the country by Media poll results or one that does not?
I rather have someone who didn't, just like the guy who's at the wheel now. I thank God everyday we had Bush and not Gore on 9/11.

Amen to that bro...I am not a huge political person, but Dubs is my President of choice, I just hate they always focus on the negative shit (as if was unheard of an unavoidable) and not all the good that he's done...

Wow..I didn't know that there were others that agreed with me. Bush isn't the best President we've had but he sure as hell is better than Gore or Kerry would have done. He leads with conviction and is firm in his beliefs. I'm glad he's there

Dude, are you trying to bait Brains? Dude is gonna shit a brick when he sees this thread. lol
I like Bush, though. He's one of the reasons I gained such an interest in current affairs. I don't agree with everything he's does, but I've never agreed with everything any leader has done. I've read a lot of articles about him, and he has a great character.

Brains doesn't need any bait, he'd find an argument with a rock if he thought it backed Bush in one form or another.

I like Bush but...................... every Politician reacts to polls.
Flag burning, same sex marriage, and other wedge issues are designed to avert attention
and or influence poll numbers. The Bush camp runs a well oiled machine designed to stay
on message with it's base and label critisism as unpatriotic, thus never addressing the issue
in an opponents complaint. That's politics 101, hold the base (which is roughly 50% of the voting public).
The ultimate poll question for the Bush camp is: Who do you trust in handling Iraq - Us or Them
