Gamma Ray Burst

Basically some thing explodes 3000 thousand light years from earth and can still mess us up bad.I caught some of this on t.v..They said they were looking into wether it could have caused some of the mass extinctions.....The first page of the link explanes what it is and go to the bottem and click contiue to see the damage it could do.Good thing they rarely hit us.

Man I love science, especially astronomy, I rarely have time to read things like that anymore...Thanks for posting it..! Man this universe is so infinite, so awesome, the things I read as we come to understand them blow me away everytime... 3,000 light years away, and it could still peel back our entire Ozone layer....Wow...
