I voted Italian. I was at an Italian restaurant not too long ago. The food was amazing, and they gave you a lot. It was great. I'm not big on chinese food. I'm a real picky eater. lol

I refuse to vote because I'd fill myself with ALL the aforementioned foods ....
And even tho I have NO idea what "soul food" is, well, let me tell you that in this case (where I have no idea what it is), I'm following Garfield's rule which is "what you don't know, can't harm you" !!!!!

I mean, get serious!!!
Want greasy stuff that will make your cholesterol want to dance like Shakira? Well, Greek food for you.
Want Pasta or extrememly tasty stuff with dough? Well, Italian is the thing !!!
Want exotic tastes with a very balanced and light cuisine?? Well, go east !!!
Want... SPLENDID TACO HELL TASTES ??? WELL, MEXICAN IS THE THING FOR YOU !!!
Want.... .something that you have no idea what it is butt(Shakira /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />) won't harm you ? Then eat your soul!

Personally, I have enjoyed and still enjoy and WILL KEEP ENJOYING ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!
So no food vote!

Yes, I'm unbelievably fat too.
Good... Bad... I'm the guy with the gun...

All the above are great but I enjoy Mexican and Italian equally.

By the way...What I call soul food is things that were traditionally eaten by slaves...Not to say that all cultures don't enjoy it, or that it originated with slaves, but there are certain things of certain animals that are not really edible, that are edible now, LOL....For instance. I guess you could say a typical Soul Food plate would be like this:

Fried Chicken
Collard Greens
Corn Bread
Black Eye Peas w/Fatback

and Peach Cobbler for Dessert

Or

Turkey/Chicken and Dressing
Macaroni and Cheese (Gov't cheese)
Cabbage
Baked Beans w/Hamburger Meat

and a Butter Roll for Dessert

Basically, the shit I grew up on, LOL...

Man this is too tough. I don't consider Greek food to be ethnic (quite obviously). I adore Szechuan chilli prawns and thai curries stirfries, I love pasta, enchiladas and burritos and fajitas are bloody awesome, I'll be eatin' tandoori chicken tonight (what a treat!).

What exactly is soul food?
