Question's for the board

#1

Post by Buffmaster »

What does the US President have to do with the global need for fuel and it's worldwide price's

Does GWB really have the power to force OPEC into lower their price per barrel?

How can the President influence the speculation on oil futures?

How can the Demos say that Bush has failed the country when it comes to energy price's due to global demand?

Is it true, that the Demos have opposed every plan that the GOP puts foward no matter the issue?

When the Stock market is down, is it really fair to blame to the President?

If you were the President, and you knew there was going to be an attack in a US city and the only way to stop it was illegal. Would you go ahead and stop it?

If you did stop it, would the media praise you or condem you even though saved countless lives?

I look forward to reading your replies

Let me take a crack at this...

What does the US President have to do with the global need for fuel and it's worldwide price's?

Everything!

Does GWB really have the power to force OPEC into lower their price per barrel?

Duh!

How can the President influence the speculation on oil futures?

You underestimate the president... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

How can the Demos say that Bush has failed the country when it comes to energy price's due to global demand?

They need to blame something on him, and the Iraq war is getting stale...

Is it true, that the Demos have opposed every plan that the GOP puts foward no matter the issue?

They wouldn't be Dummycrats otherwise... Sorry, I actually meant Democrats.

When the Stock market is down, is it really fair to blame to the President?

If you oppose him, yes. If you don't. no.

If you were the President, and you knew there was going to be an attack in a US city and the only way to stop it was illegal. Would you go ahead and stop it?

[Answer censored]

If you did stop it, would the media praise you or condem you even though saved countless lives?

Depends on the channel.

What makes you think he wants the price to go down? He's in the oil business and every day the price is up he gains more money. Lowering the price would diminish profits.

Oh I get it, GWB runs OPEC and we really didn't invade Iraq for the oil.

So global demand has nothing to do with the price of oil, only the President determine's the price. Man, I learn something everyday.
