Going this weekend to see it with family. Heard mixed bags just like any movie, but more positive than negative.

The movie gets boring in a few places but overall the movie is quite good. Its hillarious at times and at times your mind just wonders off into the distance. Overall I'd say maybe a 7/ 10 but the ending was crap which pissed me off.

Yeah I agree with Deepak, the ending really sucked. But I give it 8/10. I liked it better than the first.

WHAT..? How can you like it better than the first.. lol
Yeah, I'd also give it an 8/10..

Fight scenes pissed me off though - way too long and boring..

I haven't seen it yet, but I want to... all I gotta say is the beginning for this one better be as good as the beginning for the first one. I was seriously in tears when he came floating in on the sinking ship. lmao

It thought it was good but no where near the quality of the first one. It did have it's funny parts but as Deep said, some of the scenes just dragged on. I can't wait for the third one to come out though.

Hell no man, when a movie starts getting to the third part, it gets SO boring, cause most of the time the producer is out of "plot" or "storylines" EXCLUDING comedies.

If you notice, part 3 of movies don't sell well most of the time.

Absolutely amazing movie.. Thought it was awesome.. Then again i'm a huge Depp fan so I love his stuff.. Wasn't as entertaining as the 1st one but I didn't think it would be.

And just as I suspected it was pretty much a build up for the 3rd and final movie. They filmed both P2 and P3 at the same time so can't wait till next year when they release P3.

In terms of box office dollars the movie cleaned right up. It's 1st day open it took in the most ever by any movie. And it cleaned up huge over the weekend.

All in all it was a wicked movie.. Lots of comedy and action. And hell it's always entertaining watching Depp on screen..
