I thought it was because he was against all the A-rod bashing they do at ESPN. Did ESPN even make an announcement? I wonder if he can still play. The Dodgers need a second base because right now they SUCK. ESPN sucks too though. I thought Peter Gammons and HR were the only two good guys from Baseball Tonight. Too bad but I'm sure HR will get a job in no time. I really liked the job he did in the college and little league world series.

'Baseball Tonight' analyst Reynolds no longer at ESPN

QUOTEBRISTOL, Conn. -- Harold Reynolds, a baseball analyst with ESPN since 1996, is no longer with the network, the company confirmed Tuesday afternoon.

ESPN offered no further comment.

Reynolds, a member of the "Baseball Tonight" team for 11 years, made his last appearance on the show Sunday night, ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said Tuesday.

Reynolds, who played 12 major league seasons with the Mariners, Orioles and Angels, joined ESPN in 1996. In addition to his work on "Baseball Tonight," the former Gold Glove-winning second baseman also covered the College World Series and the Little League World Series for the network.

I thought that this was some big news. I really like Harold Reynold's and the entire Baseball Tonight crew (barring Orestes Destrade lol). According to rumors, complaints of sexual harassment did him in. He'll probably show up on FoxSports or something, though. lol

There is no way he'd go back to playing....I hope you were joking. I read this in the paper this morning and was totally shocked! I've met him a couple times and he's such an awesome guy. There was no way I would have expected this from him. Wow...

People are taking this shit too far, I hope he sue's the fuck out of ESPN. I'm still bitter about how ESPN treated that non-scandal at Colorado a few years back. He needs to drop the fucking hammer on them, all he did was give this cry baby bitch a hug. I'm done ranting.

I was actually joking about him playing but I sure wouldn't mind him taking over Tim McCarver's job over at Fox. The story I got was that ESPN was ripping A-Rod and since he's good buddies with him he had it with some of the other guys. I think it's Steve Phillips that received most of HR's wrath. A couple of days ago I tuned in to ESPN and Steve Phillips was going on and on on how the Yankees need to trade A-Rod. I guess that's why the guy was fired as a GM. We'll all have to wait until the truth comes out though.

If your waiting on ESPN coming out with the truth, you'll be waiting for a while, if ever.
