Bobby Abreu and Cory Lidle to the Yankees
The Yanks have finally done a deal that should help them beat the Red Sox:

He has a huge on-base percentage and has over 60 RBI's. His homeruns are down but he's heading to Yankee Stadium which is built for lefty hitters. When Matsui and Sheffield get back from their injuries think about how unstoppable the Yanks will be. This will be their lineup
CF Damon
SS Jeter
3B A-Rod
1B Giambi
DH Sheffield
RF Abreu
LF Matsui
C Posada
2B Cairo
That's until Cano comes back. Then he'd head to the #2 spot and their lineup will be even better

I don't think any A.L. team can beat the White Sox. The only team that might have a chance are the Angels but they need Soriano. If they make a move for him and they keep their pitchers, watch out. This is a great move for the Yankees, though.

No team can beat the White Sox?? The Sox are sucking it up! They have lost 12 of their last 15 and their team chemistry is heading to the shit hole thanks to Ozzie Guillen. They aren't even gonna make the playoffs. Here are some other trades that happened today:
Matt Stairs goes from KC to TEX
Todd Walker traded from CHC to SD
Xavier Nady goes from NYM to PIT
Oliver Perez and Roberto Hernandez goes from PIT to NYM
Shawn Chacon NYY to PIT
Craig Wilson PIT to NYY
Greg Maddux CHC to LAD
Casear Isturez LAD to CHC
Scott Linebrink SD to NYM
Olver Perez from NYM to SD
Kip Wells PIT to TEX
Julio Lugo TB to LAD

Yep, I said it, NO A.L. team will beat the White Sox. There's still alot of baseball left this season. Although they've skidded a little, they're only .5 game back in the wild card and they still have time to make a run for the A.L. central. Sometimes I wonder if anyone from the White Sox even listens to O. Guillen. The guy was a moron last year too and they still won it.
I like what the Dodgers did or didn't do. They acquired some good players to try to make a run this year but they didn't get Soriano. I'm very surprised that Washington didn't move Soriano. Bowden must have been asking for the farm.

How much would you be willing to spend for a World Championship, if you were the onwer of the Yanks?

Well if I was the GM of the Yanks (who does all the deals), I would spend a lot. I know that if I would have to win in order to keep my job. It's been 6 years since they have won so they need it now...
