I can't wait to see Miami Vice. It looks really good
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Bit late on this one, obviously, but just thought I'd say Dead Man's Chest was a good laugh. Little on the long side, but a good old fashioned fun movie. Looking forward to the final part, and especially the return of a certain individual who was fantastic in the first movie. Don't want to spoil it for anyone yet to see part 2 by mentioning who that someone might be!

saw pirates 2 last night.

i used to know (biblically) the twin of that chick that was in the swamp. she was a trip, and damn could she cook! and she kept a jar of dirt in the corners of her room, to "keep about tha wardin wot not make him spirits wandrun back to little girl" (apparently, her her father's ghost haunted her, and she used used nail crosses buried in jars of goofer dust to keep him from coming inside, where the moonlight hits the corner of a room.

the rest of the movie was O.K. but to be honest, it was too friggin long, and the best part was the end, when the other pirate dude came down the steps. he was cool, as ever.

johnny depp was too full of himself for this one, not enough Kira, and too much of them damn two dudes from the old crew.

davy jones was useless, and that sucks, cause I know the real David Jones, 333, the Doctor of Dementia himself. and we have a common regard for each other as equals.
