I think that what I am going to do, is just get a new laptop next week or whenever I get paid next...The one I saw, I mean, I'm sure its not perfect, but here are the specific spects of it:

2 GB of PC5300 DDR2 RAM (Kiss my ass, cap lock rocks, lol)
6.6 lbs
15.4" Screen, WXGA Hi-Def widescreen w/BrightView Technology
AMD Turion 64 X2 @ 1.8 GHz (512 + 512 on the cache 2)
Up to 1600 MHz System Bus
120 GB 5400 RPM SATA drive
nVidia GeForce Go 7200 w/256 MB of RAM
56K Modem
10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN
1 ExpressCard/54
1 Firewire Port
Double-layer DVD+- DVD/CD R-RW
3 USB 2.0 Ports
LightScribe Capability (Some really cool shit)
Built in 802.11b/g Wireless LAN
Built In webcam and mic

Seemed pretty good to me for less and a G, eh..? Any of you laptop owners want to give me some advice on what else to look for, please be my guest...

Hopefully, I will be able to find a way to hook up my old HDD from my old laptop, and just get my data off of it...HOPEFULLY...Otherwise, I will resort to some cryptic Knoppix method to get my shits...But I refuse to give up on it, LoL...I want my fucking data..!!! I have lost too much...WAY TOO MUCH information this summer...Hopefully it ends here...

That computer sounds really good to me. It looks like a really good deal. Hopefully it'll work out for you
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Surprisingly, no mail in rebates or none of that..! I was thinking about the fact that I would be rebated to death, but nope, that's the flat price..!

Warranty wise, its 1 year limited parts limited labor...So that seems a little iffy, but in a years time, I'll have my desktop back up, so if something happens to it, I won't be computerless again...And don't worry, I'm getting an external day of, this is the last time I plan on loosing a shitload of data, trust me...
