Gym, exercise, boxing, martial arts, sports...

Don't stuff yourself for the hell of it. Put some real muscle on your bones. You'll feel and look better for it. Right now you are in a good position being skinny. It's easier to tone up than if you are overweight.

This is all true. Even though exercise has never killed anyone, I don't want to take the chance. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Muscle mass is always better than pure pounds.

put a couple rolls of quarters in your pockets before you get on the scale.

if your budget does not allow for the coins, substitute rocks or any other objects you have access to.

quick, easy, and no health side effects! you can thank me later

heh

You can't tell Ja was drinking last night... lol

So... I did the BMI calculation today and was extremely worried... I first did the calculation with my weight at 120. That put me under weight by an entire point. However, I went and weighed myself after that, and I'm actually at 123, so I have gained a couple pounds... but I'm still under weight. Under 18.5 is under weight, and I'm at about 18.2. I still wanna gain another 10 pounds... that'll put me roughly at 19.7.

I'll probably do a little bit of working out... my brother gave me this magazine that had some work-outs the Marines do... different style pushes and small weight lifting and shit. I was gonna use that, but I can't find it...

That will give you some mass but usually it doesn't make you gain weight. You've gotta eat a ton while you do that and then you should do fine

You never want to gain pure weight anyway. Then it is just fat with no muscle mass. I would go for Muscle Mass over pounds anyday.

But you have to have that pure mass before you can convert it into muscle

If you go to the gym and take some whey/protein, you should be able to build mass without increasing your fat. Fat is muscles worst enemy. Adding pure weight means you're adding fat... I'd rather get toned or ripped over just trying to weigh more.

You put on here that you want to gain weight but don't care about adding muscle. That sounds really dumb. Cause, if you gain weight but not muscle, you are just putting on fat and you can pretty much do that just by eating garbage! If you want to legimately gain weight, work out. High protein diet is the way to go. Skinless chicken, beef or soy products. If you can't afford that, then protein powder. There are a lot of quality powder out there for a reasonble rice. Actually if you compare the price of the powder with the amount of protein you are getting, the powder is the best deal.

Exactly... pure pounds will be harder to get off and will only do harm to your body... muscle mass will increase your motabolism as well as add definition to your body.
