On the surface, it would seem as though the PM of Israel's stance has made a difference...

that seems to be a good thing indeed.

Now I hope Israel on its side does not repeat what it did on Saturday with its nightly incursion.

What's the matter, Brains? Power almost get knocked out in your bunker again? lol

I really don't care what the Lebanese government has to say... I'll listen to them when they actually force Hezbollah to disarm...

Israeli troops shoot Hezbollah militants

You gotta love the French... a whole 200 troops! Go guys! My question is this: why the hell did the U.S. go to them to create a draft resolution? Once again the French show just how useless they are.

It looks like it'll just be the Lebanese in South Lebanon... I really hope the Lebanese are serious...

because the modern Lebanon was created by the French... of which it used to be a colony.

That was a rhetorical question, raum... lol

Italy offers to lead U.N. force in Lebanon

It seems the Italians are ready to step up. They've offered 3,000 troops. My only question is what will they do if things get intense? Will they cut and run like they did in Iraq, or will they stick it out? But considering they're the only unbiased, as far as I know, country that has offered to send a large number of troops, I guess we can't be too picky...

I'm surprised Canada hasn't offered to send any troops... I guess our prime minister figures we won't be seen as unbiased anymore since he said Israel's response was measured...

My local news last night was saying there are Liberal and NDP MPs who think Canada shouldn't consider Hezbollah as a terrorist group anymore... :?

I think I voted for the NDP for the last time back in January...
