Hmm...How can I put this so ruff can understand it....These posts are becoming quite challenging... /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

As a college grad doing absolutely nothing with my degree, I can definitely see where you're going with the argument...This is what I came to the conclusion of...

1. If you don't want to learn period, a university isn't for you...

QUOTE(ruffrider23)Music holds no bearnig on buildings unless you are constructing a music hall

And so, you go against your own feelings with your limited scope and perspective...Why would a person going to school to learn architecture, only want to study to build houses..? If you're going to college, you should go to better yourself...You could argue that there is no difference between constructing a building and putting together a symphony...They have many of the same components, and should share a similar thought process...The key word..? Thought...This is important in day to day activities...So in other words: Why wouldn't you want a guy to know Mozart who you're paying $200,000 to build a house..?

I don't like dumbasses, I would NEVER surround myself with guys that only knew about computers and nothing else...No one person who is considered great in one thing attained that by simply studying that one thing...What you should eventually come to the conclusion to believe, is that somehow, damn near all things are connected...

Very true A. Some of the smartest and richest people in the world got there by surrounding themselves with people who are smarter than themselves. It's the key to success...
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

Soren Kierkegaard
