One thing to be aware of; while running any vendor's AntiVirus product, if you notice an unacceptable drop in performance, disable the "Real-Time" or "Auto-Protect" setting to speed your system up again. When you do this, set the program to do a full scan when you will not be using your computer.

good luck

A little bump.

Have any of you guys heard of Kaspersky? I used it as a free trial and it seems to work fine. But hey, I'm no expert on this matter, so I'm taking it to the masters, you guys. What do you guys think of it?

I've read every comment on this thread and it seems that AVG Free is a winner. If you think that kaspersky is shit, I'll switch.

Also, i have a crack for Kaspersky Internet Security, aside from the fact that it will eliminate the trail period for KIS, it will also affect the preformance of the product? Will it do its job correctly?

do people really trust/use cracked versions of security software?

Fear trusting your PC security tasks to software that a h4x0r from Ubezikstan has tampered with!

Well yes it is but there is a premimum version that was hacked and posted in the AFS software section.

I dont trust it but I'm running windows defender, avg and zone alarm together at the moment.

And yes I heard that zone alarm is shit but it does the job.
