QUOTE(AYHJA)QUOTE(who.am.i)I don't think that's possible on ANY operating system, my friend..

Doing what I suggested, my icons sizes changed...I put them on 64 and they were big, on 16 and they were small...If push comes to shove, I KNOW you can do it with microangelo, an icon management program...Did you try it slo..?

I was actually talking about the text next to the icons, and natively without any freeware stuff.. lol

Yeah, I tried changing it to 16x16 through Tuneup Utilities as well as through AYHJA's procedure through the properties, and they both only changed the desktop icons and I didn't notice any changes in the other icons throughout the system. But, they didn't place the text on the side of the icons.

I thought I could put the text to the side through Tuneup but it doesn't give the option so I guess there's some other type of registry hack or program that will be able to do that. I'm gonna look up AYHJA's suggestion, Microangelo, and see if it can do that.

Otherwise, I don't really have any Windows Explorer windows open often, so the toolbar solution wouldn't help me much. I prefer using the desktop but also like having all that space to just make it look neat and tidy.
