Anyone had a look at the new internet explorer 7?

I just downloaded it a few days ago because my computer was kinda screwing up on me. I couldnt open IE or any folders and explorer.exe kept crashing and then restarting all by itself. So I figured there must be some sort of virus or something, Since the laptop i have came with norton I have yet to remove it. Im just waiting for the it to expire to remove it. Nothing came up in the scan. I used zone alarm as well and still nothing. Then I decided to remove some programs from my computer and everything was running smoothly again.

Anyway the new IE looks quite smiliar to FF. The whole tab stuff and everything. Anyway I havent been able to enter the site using FF for the past few days. Well not from home anyways so I was using the IE7.

I tried opening a tab and the IE just completely closed on me. So what I'm wondering is if that is just a bug in IE or some sort of virus on my system thats affecting that.

IE7 Download

If it's not FF then I'm not interested

ROFLMBAOCDR..!!

Damn tt, it seems like yesterday I was trying to convert you to FF, and now, shit, you'd think it was the other way around..! LoL, dude cold told it like it is..!

Man, I can't stress it enough...Fixing problems in Firefox > Fixing IE problems...If you can't get on in FF after you've cleared your cache and cookes, just create a new profile...And just like that, your FF will run clean as a whistle...Copy your bookmarks over to your new profile man, and you're home free...

But to answer your question, I have tried IE7, and saw no reason not to leave it where it was...

I use both FF and IE7. I like FF's versatiliuty, but I still can't get it to pull up my Hotmail from external links (like when I click on someones e-mail and it pops up in a new window). So, I use IE7 for that.

Yeah the clearing of the cache and cookies did the job. Easy to log in now. And as RR said ... i use IE for emails only. I use FF for everything else.

I haven't seen IE since it was version 5.......

In fact, when I get a new computer, I'm thinking of getting the whole OpenSource stuff that Google & Sun Microsystems are doing. No Microsoft whatsoever!

(Just gotta learn how to use RedHat).

I don't know anything about the open source stuff, but I know I will give FF the thumbs up over IE. I still can't get FF to open my e-mails like I want in external windows, so IE does have it's use I guess.

I don't know why, but I still prefer IE. It's faster.
