Kill or be Killed..?

I would have to say that I wouldn't kill the guy in either case. When it comes to self-defense, then I'll kill him, but my baby girl is killed or my SO is dead, then there really is nothing I can do. When it comes to self-defense I prevent a life from being taken, but that doesn't happen here. What's the point of taking another life?

I find it funny how so many people say they'd torture the person. Outside of raum, how many of you would actually have the stomach to go through with it?

In my opinion, torturing someone is the most abhorrant, appalling thing a person could possibly do. Did no one else listen to Happywonton's story?

Trash, self-defence has no place in Ty's question. Self-defence is using enough force to get the person off you. If you're shooting him or torturing him or just simply kicking his ass, self-defence goes out the window and you can be charged you with murder or assault etc...

In the two scenarios Ty posted in his most recent post, I'd more than likely just shoot the person. Just because he raped and killed my daughter doesn't mean I have to lower myself to his level.

So then, how would you/do you deal..? Some dude is bragging about the things he's done...The avg. person (aka my black ass) would simply be focused on making sure that person never lived normal again...

I do believe that in an instance like that, I'd do anything but kill her, torture would be right up my alley...

The reason I brought up self defense is because of his first example. I could just see the question arising on how I would kill the guy in the first example and not in the second example. In this situation, I wouldn't kill or torture the guy

If its no longer self defence i would want the guy to rot in jail .I wouldnt want to become like him. If in some strange situation were he's not going to jail and is so sick that he's in my face bragging about what he did to my daughter i would pick up something heavy and beat him with it

As a parent who has had constant nightmares about the sick-as-fuck world we live in, I have imagined my reaction to both of the scenarios that Ty raised. I have a very active imagination and were it to be turned loose on someone that had raped/tortured/& killed one of my kids, raum's electric cheese grater would pale in comparison.

Like raum, I'd tend to be a little more "merciful" in the second situation and provide a quick out to the perp, but a lot would depend on his attitude toward the incident.

Let me put it to you this way K......I could, and would, without any hesitation.......whatsoever.....seriously over fuck and torture anyone that ever came close to hurting one of my kids.....and I mean that from the bottom of my being. No Rambo shit here....I'd have no problem beating someone within an inch of their life with a dull shovel, hammer, rock, etc., etc. etc. and then watching them come to, only to beat their fucking ass once again. You fuck with my family....and it's on.....PERIOD.

Being that I served in the military for 8 years, if someone ever pulls a gun out I know it's for a purpose...to kill me. If I get the jump there won't even be a warning.
