IE 7 needs tweaking for safety

Microsoft's new Internet Explorer 7.0 browser, which was released to the public last week, includes several security improvements but still has weaknesses inherited from IE 6.
An easy way to "harden" IE 7 so you're protected against hacker threats that haven't even been invented yet.

True, but IE7 took a giant leap over it's previous version. Compared to 1.5, Firefox 2.0 hasn't done much of a difference.

most firefox related issues are due to extensions, try disabling any recently added extensions to see if that alleviates your trouble

Actually, it should read the closer you get to perfection, it takes more effort to make smaller improvements. Thus the "diminishing returns" part of the moniker.
