I thought that with us all scattered about the US and other places rich in tradition, it'd be fun to share with each other what traditions you celebrate at Thanksgiving.
In the years before my mother's death, we'd all gather as a family for a HUGE feast; there'd usually be around 20 - 25 of us present. Everyone would pitch in with the preparation and as we'd gather around the table we'd all have to say at least one thing we were thankful for in the past year.
The ladies/girls would gather in the living room afterward while we guys went out in the yard for some touch (right!) football. Injuries were usually minor and laughed about in subsequent years though one year I broke my youngest brother's collar bone and my other brother broke 3 of my ribs. Good times!

Damn, good times indeed..!
Man, the only Thanksgiving tradition me and my family have is to have more food than it is humanly possible to eat, start early, and finish late...
Shit I'm about to grabe me another plate right now..!

We have tons of family over to my house and just feast and play games and just spend time together! It's awesome
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"
