Well I think its debatable wether the news on Iraq was too negative or instead didnt ask the tough questions but since this is a no debate zone i"ll leave that alone. If your talking about the news in general I think Ayhja"s answer is the best answer you could come up with so i"ll just add to that by saying the least reported story of all time would be ( How news agencies choose what to report on ) .There whole bases for what news airs is what will grab the viewers attention and good news just doesnt keep people viewing like a school shooting does. Talking about a powerful mans falures seems to be another good ratings grabber. They turn things into soup operas .Any kind of shocking story they can slowly unfold over many days is what gets all the air time They depend on ratings to creat the prices they charge advertisers so what ever brings those ratings gets top billing. Add to that the other things compeating for our attention. 3 24hour news shows..the internet....games...dvds...and hundreds of tv channels and there going to do what ever it takes to get your attention. Evan if that means creating a view of the world that doesnt reflect the over all reality.

The least reported story of the year is about me, Buffmaster. I, Buffmaster parachuted into Pakistan and proceeded to cut Bin Laden throat like it was warm butter. lol
The most under reported story of 2006 is "The Hunt for Bin Laden"

Shakespeare said it already: the good is oft interred with the bones, the evil lives after them...
... so let it be with Ceasar (and news apparently).
the part between brackets is poetical freedom added by me. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

QUOTE(Buffmaster @ Dec 9 2006, 03:15 PM) The time of universal peace is near.
Prove this a prosp’rous day, the three-nooked world
Shall bear the olive freely.
what does that mean bm? and, more importantly... how does it fit here?
