So I'm still using Office 2000 at home, but my college uses Office 2003. I'm trying to finish a PowerPoint assignment that's due tonight at midnight. I only have two things left to do. One is to use the "Grow/Shrink 150% custom animation" on a group of animations I created in one of the slides. Unfortunately I can't find that feature in 2000. Does anyone know if maybe that's just a 2003 feature? I'm hoping to avoid going to the homework lab. lol

Yea man, it's not available on 2000. The best bet for you is to go to AFS Software and grab either 2003 or the 2007. 2007 has all the features from 2003 and some more. If you grab 2007 just make sure when you save it you make is 2003 compatable

Shitty deal. lol All right. I'll have to grab that tonight after my math test, and finish the project then.

If you have fast internet you could just grab it right now. It didn't take too long for me to download

I'd still stick with 2003 rather than 2007 if I had a choice between the two, but it's up to you..

Plus, there are still compatibility issues between the two..

I use 2007 and I honestly haven't had any compatibility issues between the 2. I had a small one with page numbers on Word but that's it

Quick question. I was at the college today for a test, so I decided to hit the homework lab and fix the animation. If I open that file in my 2000 version now, will the animation fuck up?

If you did it in 2003, I don't think you'll be able to view it on 2000 at all. I know that 2007 has a compatibility option but I don't know if 2003 has that

Well, I'm just thinking. I only have a few small touches to add. Some text. Whatever. I just don't want to open it, and have that stuff fuck up on me.

If you used compatibility mode under 2003 you shouldn't have any problems.
Otherwise it may not even open, and if it does it's likely it'll be screwed up.
