QUOTE(œbermensch @ Feb 9 2007, 12:45 AM) Kramer, after you see this, you might want to consider switching over...I'm pretty sure this could be streamed lined to work w/a DB relatively easily...
I don't know. My tables seem to be working fine for me for now. They hold all my stats. lol

Yes Kramsie, but you can't sort them WHAT-SO-EVER..
Plus, it's more of a pain in the arse to share..

Sort them how exactly? I have my teams sorted in their respective divisions and in alphabetical order.

All right... so Excel isn't bad. lol
I added Games Behind to my stats, so now I have the divisions sorted by Games Behind. I forgot that you could sort specific areas in the spreadsheet without sorting everything else. lol

I gave Ayhja a spreadsheet that does a little bit more.
If he is cool with it, I might do more.

QUOTE(raum @ Feb 9 2007, 11:28 PM) I gave Ayhja a spreadsheet that does a little bit more.

One thing though,.. due to the actual file he showed me, and what I wanted to do with it, it is limited.
I created parameters in the file.
Basically, there is only enough room for 22 teams of ten members each. It allows you to schedule 5 matches a week for 26 weeks and keep tracks of wins by each team and member.
This reflects one season of one year. It allows for no "switching of girls" or late season changes.
There is also a week at a glance report that has a drop down box that will let you put together a sheet of the five matches for the given week.
I can add a bunch of stuff, but I was going to just show this to Ayhja and find out what he thinks.

QUOTE(Kramer @ Feb 10 2007, 07:47 PM) You can actually add drop-down menus in Excel? lol
yes, and much more. excel has a lot of functionality most peolpe never think of.
i can make a tetris game in excel, for example.
but even more so, I can make a way of analyzing all kinds of data across different metrics.
