The Gaps Between Episode 3 and 4 Are Filled

Star Wars fans have a reason to rejoice once again, as it appears the main series and the extended universe will come together once again to add more depth to the series. With the end of Episode III and the saga being complete, much of the 20 years between episodes III and VI were left open to debate, but now it appears that LucasArts will be clearing the smoke with the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The Force Unleashed is not another movie, but rather a video game that will be added to the lengthy history of Star Wars video game

The most notable part of the game is that the player will not control anyone that is already established in the movie universe or the extended universe. Instead, players will be able to take control of Darth Vader's secret apprentice. No information has been released about the character and fans can probably expect him to remain shrouded in secrecy until the release of the game.

Shit, I just want a talented film maker to make another movie, lol...

My understanding is that there will also be a live-action TV series within the next two years. And that series also takes place between Ep. 3 and Ep. 4.

i just wish they would let it alone.

I thought the prequals could have been better...There is so much to the universe, it felt rushed in parts...In my eyes, much of Ep 1 and Ep 2 should have been combined....

But good or not, its still Star Wars, and therefore leagues beyond anything else...They just need to let someone else do it...They should follow the old trilogy's blueprint and make it happen...

i guess that's the thing.

if they keep making crap, then "star wars" doesn't hold that awesome meaning anymore. it just becomes more sci-fi drivel.

now, if they revamp it by approaching it like the new batman or something like that....it will kick ass.

I agree...

I like those Star Wars Infinities stories, where they don't use the storyline of the original trilogy at all, and paint a different picture...

I could get into an idea of a tv show, but only if it takes place after ROTJ...

Actually, for Star Wars, what I want to see most is the up coming "Star Wars: Force Unleashed" game.

"players will get a chance to work for Darth Vader himself, as the man in black's new apprentice...[and] hunt down the last of the Jedi. (and presumably the Sith)"

The Force Unleashed is set between the 2005 prequel, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, and the 1977 film that started it all, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

The tech demo set is choice! http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/823/ ... ids_1.html

as for the idea of new movies, meh.
