So a couple of my friends are making a website and they want to implement a wiki where outside users can make pages within that website. Does anyone know how to do it?

From the sounds of it, you're looking for a lightweight CMS, rather than a wiki..
I suggest MODx, really easy to use, and it has some neato features and themes (http://modxcms.com/)

Give it a go at http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php? ... ew&id=2101

There's some wikis to try out there, too..
Completely unrestricted demos /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Wow...that site makes no sense to me at all. Can you tell me what it's about or something?

Uh, basically it lets you trial out different Wikis and CMSs to find the best one for you..

Since all you need to do is share pages, and edit them easily (similar to that of a wiki), I think all you need is a CMS (content management system)..

A wiki is more for thing were you're linking many topics together in a web, while a CMS is more for pages, but you can still just as easily link pages together to form a web
