Awesome thread- I've actually written my own version of this thread in the past, on another forum. I will locate that thread and post it here, as it was quite in-depth.

Thanks for posting this. Remind me too to post back in this thread.

Okay, here's a quick rundown.

I DETEST shopping for clothes. Man nothing is more boring than traipsing around Target trying on trousers and shirts that you just don't wanna wear.. ugh

Yet, I LOVE shopping for food!
I also have a wierd thing for stationery- for some reason I am always excited when shopping for stationery, new pens, writing books, staplers, sharpeners, marking pens, rulers, protractors, folders, scissors, glue, compasses, coloured pencils, nikko pens, notepads, ring binders.

Another thing too is window-shopping in guitar shops. I've been doing that ALOT lately, every time I've gone off work. Walking in, saying I want to buy a new amp, try out new stuff as loud as I like, mucking around with the effect pedals, playing guitars that cost way too much for me, asking heaps of questions, even just looking at it all. It's great.

I also like shopping/looking at Personal Protective Equipment. Glcves, safety boots, safetyglasses, dust masks, neoprene boots, drill shirts, the whole hog. It would make my day to wear a HAZMAT suit.

well in that case, i like to shop for lighters. i have like a mini collection from a torch from william sonoma to shitty lighters from ebay. im looking at one right now by colibiri from this tobacco shop in the mall. i might get it.

when i window shop, i don't necessarily "window" shop, i shop online and look hard and think hard about if something is worth buying or not.

when i shop online, i mainly look at shoes. straight from the manufacturers website is good enough for me. i like converse and adidas for tennis shoes. although i am looking at some nike free 5.0's and the nike shox for running.

I don't necessarily love to shop all that much, but I love the atmosphere of shopping malls.
