See..! It's not just me..! cdr
I maybe need to watch it again...But I have the feeling that this all ties into the guy when he was little, how there was a story about him having met a man under a tree that showed him his first trick...
And the whole thing they kept repeating was 'Everything you see is an illustion' so perhaps on a wide scale of things, it meant the entire story...Maybe we weren't meant to get that other stuff...

i have seen both the illusionist and the prestige.
i liked them both for different reasons.
to see the prince be outdone by ed norton was cool and i think there were enough hints along the way, that at the end, you'll be like "of course...now it makes sense."
just watched the prestige today and this one had a lot of twists and turns. by the end, my girlfriend and i talked about how it ended and tried to see if we had it figured out.
we did...for the most part.
i think.

The Prestige wasn't hard to figure out....just hard to predict...
whereas the opposite is true for the illusionist....it wasn't too difficult to predict out what was going to happen....but I'm still puzzled.
