As some of you may or may not know, I'm guess not lol, the NIT tournament has been hosted here in my hometown...Earlier today, me and the folks went to a game, and saw Mississippi State advance to the Final Four of the NCAA NIT tournament...It was pretty awesome..! I know the NIT pales in comparison to the NCAA, so if you ever get chance to witness the madness in action, I'd definitely suggest going...

The NIT is pretty cool to watch. It's some good college basketball for a lot less than the NCAA tourney. When the NIT has a regional in Oregon I went to a couple games. It's fun to watch
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

sounds like a good time....with so many bubble teams left out of the dance, the NIT always has good squads there.
now that pittsburgh will have new arena soon...i'm sure the NIT or the NCAA will come knocking in the next few years.

Nah the best will be next year when the women's big ten tourney is in IL...3 of the girls on the team i managed are going big-ten...as is a girl from our rival school....so it should be really exciting to have all them together again playing each other...
