My sister needs help with her MP3 player.
She has an Insignia MP3 player, and the music program she's supposed to use is Audible. She downloaded a bunch of songs with LimeWire, but she can't figure out how to transfer those songs onto her MP3 player.
I've never used an MP3 player before, so I'm not entirely sure how to do it...

Once plugged in, it should appear as a removeable drive in My Computer; just copy and paste the files you want from LimeWire's download folder into the corresponding folder on the music player (sometimes under 'F:\Music' or whatever, other times just directly on the drive)..
If it requires re-encoding, then you'll have to read the manual that comes with the software you're supposed to use.. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hmm. I think we'll try the copy and paste idea first.
It's a major pain because I'm in Ontario and she's in Alberta, so I can't even look at her screen... lol

a simple installation of RealVNC on both computers would solve that real quick. If she has Windows XP PRO, could always use a remote desktop connection too
