Ubuntu on Samsung Q1

Hi everyone,

i've just bought a Samsung Q1 UMPC.
I haven't an external dvd drive to use with so i can't try to install Linux Ubuntu 6.10.

Before buying it i would like to kown if it someone had tried to install it and how it work
on the device.

Looking on the internet, it seems pretty simple to do, however, I haven't tried it myself..

I've posted the same request on the italian ubuntu forum... waiting for an answer

as soon as 'll receive it i will post here.

Untill now no positive results....maybe the USB external CD drive is too old.

I think that exists a guide that explain how to do it thorugh the ethrnet port with the help of a desktop PC.
