Hi Guys
This book series is, IMO, possibly the best fantasy series ever written and this from a man obviously much better known as a horror writer. Not that there isn't horror in this story either of course.....Anyway, there is now a series of marvels comics being released based on the story and, although it's hard to see what way it'll be developed, it's focusing on just one aspect at first and that the main portion of book 4 'Wizard and Glass' and the main part of that is Susan's Story which deals with the main protagonists and how they came to be like they are......
I have cbr copies of the first two issues to be released so far, if anyone would like a copy....is this the appropriate place to post these? I also have most of Clive Barker's The Great and Secret Show in it's comic guise as well, I'm missing a couple of those however but I can post what I have, again if anyone wants them and if this is the right thread.......if anybody has any copies of this series, could you let me know as I would be interested in completing mine.....
Best Regards
Goodog

Re: Stephen King's Dark Tower Comic Series
when this comic came out, I was a bit late getting to the comic store to get the first Issue.
But I did get the next Issues, I just gotta wait for the store to get the 1st issue reprint.

Re: Stephen King's Dark Tower Comic Series
I'm 5 books in out of 7 so far, and I'm loving this series. Besides being a huge Stephen King fan, I'm also a big Peter David fan, so finding out he'd be writing this was real bonus. And I have to admit, while I'm not normally a fan of Jae Lee, when Richard Isanove paints over his pencils, it's some seriously beautiful work -- and perfectly suited to the subject material.
I'd love to see this same team do an adaptation of The Stand. Or The Talisman. Or just about anything, for that matter. :geek:
