So i've started to play poker like 2 times a wk at various places....
some are free and some you pay like a 5 or 10 entry fee.....
i cant seem to get very far unless i've got good cards....
even when im chip leader, dont ask me how, i still end up losing my stack...
Any1 out there play that can give me some free advice... eg. when to call, when to fold,
i've won only once, came 2nd once, third once, and other times around 15-30th....

I am easily the best player in my area and age group....so much so people don't even want to play with me anymore....
You have to have an instinct for what people have...that's one thing I can definitely say start doing....pay attention when you aren't in a hand...how the people play...and try and put them on a hand....
if you get it right...you may have just figured something out about them... if you get it wrong....then at least u got new info.
the most important thing is learning how the people around you play...and using that to your advantage when making your moves...
also...vary up your play style and find what works best for you...but don't become readable.
As with most other things...I'm a situational player....I'm not good at telling you when to fold..what to play...because it all depends on how many people are in the hand...who's in the hand...how they play...stuff like that.
Feel free to ask any questions though and I'll try my best to answer them

I play on Yahoo Games every so often and sometimes on party poker. I always go all in and I always lose my play money. I wanted to be like those asian guys on tv but its not going to happen. The game is fun when someone starts talking shit though.
