This is one of those situations where you feel you trivialize the subject matter by even speaking on it...

This shit wrenches my heart man, what have I brought my Son into..?

Sad stuff. Unexpected though?

This comment won't be well received given I know many of you like guns but:

Where is the gun control? Is it too late for America (and many other countries)?

With an increasing rate of psychiatric illness, drug abuse and an easy access to high power weapons there are no limits to the madness.

I forgot where I first heard this....but I think it's the perfect rebuttal.

Blaming guns for murder is like blaming a pencil for spelling mistakes.

Guns dont kill - people do (Card carrying NRA member here)

May the families of the victims and the community find somepiece of solace during this sad and ugly time

Ok, now look at this:

firs thing people assume:

1. The gunman was "mikey the goth"

2. The gunman was American.

But this was NOT an AMERICAN. and not a GOTH.

This was a dude from South Korea, and he should have been on lockdown already. Hell, he just tried to set the dorm on fire before this.

As a "ex-goth" American, I want you guys fired for racism and prejudice.

Sad to see all those people dead, but DAMN he was efficient. 33 confirmed with a glock-9. He locked them in and hunted them down.

Am I the only one who wonders how the hell he got that evil to sell his soul to the devil for markmanship skills with a handgun.

Was he a student here on Edu Visa??

If he tried to be an arsonist- man are the authorities in big trouble for letting him out OR the University not keeping him away/out.

Havent seen (read) much info- but I also dont have TV either (by choice)

Sad story- I cant even begin 2 comprehend what these families have/will go(ne) thru

It is also being reported be had a suicide note, and on the inside of his arm had written a cryptic phrase:

"The note included a rambling list of grievances, according to sources. They said Cho also died with the words "Ismail Ax" in red ink on the inside of one of his arms."

Ismail Ax is, according to Islam, the "Axe of Ishmael" the axe Ibrahim (Abraham) used to destroy the temple idols after Ibrahim had converted to Islam. They believe when Ismail (Ishmael) was sent away by Ibrahim, he gave him the same ax to protect himself, and his mother Hagar.

The Ismail Ax is effectively "Weapon of Islam"

who knows if the kid was just a crazy psycho, but I lay ten dollar bills to your nickels that this kid was trained to kill to be that efficient.

I'm still trippin on the fact that dude can kill this many people one on side of campus....then go get tons more 2 hours later on the other side...

No one was in that dorm but him and the peeps he killed at that time in the morning in order to report the shootings?

I mean what if by some freak accident...he was actually caught after killing a batch of people the first time....and didn'tget a chance to kill the 20 or so more...

wtf?

they say he went in one room acting sacred and pretended he was trying to escape the killer. then while on the ground with the kids in the class, he got up started laughing and blew a hole in the teacher's head, and proceeded to kill indiscriminately. that is a special flavor of evil... *shudder*

his first victim apparently was either A. his ex-girlfriend or (according to others) B. a girl that he liked but didn't like him.

I heaven't heard all of the details about this guy, but I seen a couple things that would have tipped me off...

1. He's was 23 years old...
2. He's was 23 years old, and still lived on campus...

Says him and his parents came over when he was 12 or 8, I don't really remember, but that supposedly, this guy was a little dark...Also worth noting that each of the dead was supposedly shot no less than 3 times...

Also, he was an English Major...Why the hell was he killing people in the Engineering department..?
