I just don't see it happening. Don Nelson is just out coaching the fuck out of A-J and knows the Mav's too well..

Shit as it stands right now the Warriors are 6-1 against them so far this season

Swept 'em in the regular season....

It ain't looking good for them. and it looks like we'll have two different teams this year in the finals...

Bulls anyone?

Lol...too bad Kobe won't win the MVP. As some writer for Sports Illustrated said, "With Kobe, the Lakers are a playoff team. Without him they wouldn't even make the NIT"
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"

And i honestly feel that without Nash...the Suns still make the playoffs no problem

that's why I say Kobe is more valuable to his team....

1. i don't care if he is gonna win a MVP or not, Kobe has achieved more than you could ever think of @ just 28 years old...

2. Nash sucks, i really don't get why he has won 2 MVP's. nothing interests me in his play, he's boring. However, not withstanding, Kobe has had much more career achievements than Steve Nash even if Nash has stayed longer in NBA...

3. i saw somewhere that MJ has said "I wouldn't have been able to put up those numbers that Kobe is putting now"...i'll look for that website whenever I can...

Dude, please find that link...

I grew up watching MJ...And I'm watching Kobe now...People don't want to think about it, but Kobe is only midway through his career, if that...Already a 3 time champion...He studied MJ like a book man, everytime the Bulls played the Lakers, Mike said Kobe talked to him constantly...Off season workouts with him...Kobe is as complete a player ever...

And the arguments about the MVP are exactly as stated...Without Kobe, and I mean, if you put ANY other person in his spot, the Lakers are the worst team in the West...Easy...If you put Baron Davis on Phoenix, Phoenix would still make the playoffs...

Too bad the meaning of MVP doesn't mean that literally...

While the Suns have a really good supporting cast and they would probably still make the playoffs, Nash is the heart and the soul of that team. He provides that leadership and he sparks the runs and he gets the best of out everyone. While they would still make the playoffs, they wouldn't be nearly as good of a team

MJ+ MVP= Makes role players better = 6 championships - MJ = Bulls suck

Kobe+ MVP= no chamionships + SHAQ = 3 chamionships - SHAQ + Kobe = LAL couldnt win NIT

Kobe maybe one of the top basketball players of all time but he in no way elevates the play of his supporting cast ala MJ.

Kobe go home, again
