And like was mentioned in the other thread, please name one thing that Kobe could do to make his team better, that he isn't...

Lamar Odom is having the best season of his life, and the Lakers are a team of cast aways that are in the playoffs...Name one player that would be better off statistically if Kobe Bryant were not on that team...

Kobe averages 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists a game...Again I ask, what more can a man do..?

And you don't have to take my word for it...Head to nba.com, and do a player comparison of MJ and Kobe, and in MJ's MVP years, point out the distinguishing stat that MJ has that Kobe doesn't...Anybody wishing to do this will have to point out a list of opinionated intangibles, luckily for me, I have sided with statistical proof to my claims...

People seem to forget that MJ had Scottie, and that the Bulls didn't win until they got him....I consider MJ's '88 season to be the best season to date for any player, I've never seen domination of that type before...And the bulls found themselves inferior to the Pistons that year, went down in 5...And I don't recall people saying how MJ made his team better and all that, they simply lacked the firepower...Added Scottie Pippen and his all around game and shutdown defense, and all of a sudden, the Bulls are winning championships...Added the greatest rebounder the game has seen, and won even more championships...

I'm just waiting on somebody to say that if you put Kobe on those Bulls teams, they wouldn't have been AT LEAST as dominant...

Thanks- I have LAL season tix - I live 2 (40 mi) hrs away from Staples (if traffic doesnt suck)- LAL suck

Kobe wont win

MJ had Scottie, Shaq had Kobe, Kobe's got Walton AND Odom and they still suck.

Kobe could score 30 AND put up 20+ dimes instead of scoring 50 OR trying to shoot out of tripleteams AFTER a timeout.

REPEAT after me Habib - phonetically GM (game) SNCTRY (sanctuary)- there was that Too hard

But MJ didn't have 20 dimes...And to get a dime, players have to make shots...Maybe I'm the only one that saw the Kobe bashing stop last year, when they were showing on Sports Center all the times that Kobe passed the ball and guys were simply not making shots...

Easy to get assists when you're playing with players licensed to kill from behind the arc like the Bulls had...You couldn't afford to triple team MJ with Paxson and Hodges and Armstrong laying on the 3 point line waiting for Pippen to pass them the ball...

Lakers suck, but are in the playoffs for one reason...And that reason is wearing #24...

Also, Kobe hit 80 shooting over and through triple and quadruple teams...

Also not a pretty fact to mention that Shaq and his dynamic teammate D. Wade are out of the playoffs already...Got swept too, I believe...

gmsnctry, how sad, so you have to "explain" your name in syllables before it can be pronounced...and then you ask me "was it that hard", how ironic...

anyway I have no time to fight with you and your stupid arrogant comments about your hatred for Kobe and the LAL...over with me and you...

I totally agree the LAL supporting cast (or lack thereof) is not Kobe's fault (it Kupcakechecks (sp?)) and pales in comparison to LAL and the Bulls championship supporting casts

It also partly "the Zen Masters" fault, when Kobe takes 10 shots and makes 2 when shooting 30 ft rainbows out of double and triple teams, something needs to be said by Jackson (dunno if benching would be smart though)

My beef with Kobe is his percentage of shooting tru those- pass the damn ball and it might come back from one of those (2 or 3 open players) for a better percentage shot (that's how the triangle works), its a total breakdown from top (Jackson and Kobe) to bottom on why the LAL stink.

Maybe I'm unfairly blaminng Kobe but the BULLseye is on him as the best in the NBA (fairly or unfairly)

Nope our IPS only accepts that many letters or I'd spell it out.

I dont hate (never said, typed or posted) Kobe just think he makes dumb decisions - I have mentioned he's the best player in the NBA and would vote for MVP- just dont think he makes his supporting cast better with his bad shooting desicions is all

okay let's settle this amicably...
why is he making bad shooting decisions when it goes in more than majority of the time?

LoL, that's all I'm saying...

How is a guy that hitting almost 50% of his shots from the field, phenomenal for a player of any position, let alone the 2 guard, making bad shooting decisions and averaging 6 dimes a game..? In hindsight, I'm sure that you can be like, 'ahh he should have passed it' but shots I've seen him miss, he usually hits...

He has taken more shots than anyone else this year if I'm not mistaken, and his FG% is excellent...I'd rather have Kobe taking 30 shots and making 20, than have him taking 20, and dishing...
