Interesting stuff. We usually think of the universe and other planets as stagnant objects that have been the same for millions of years. This article shows that the universe is a changing place and new things are happening all the time.
BTW - Jupiter will be visible near the moon after 11:30p.m. Binoculars and scopes will help you see it, but there will be a lot of light pollution from the almost full moon (two days waining).

I need to buy a good pair of binoculars, I want to do a little star search with my seed soon, and don't really want a telescope...
