3% failure rate? bs. 30?! more likely. 50?!? possible.

ps3?! not a single complaint...

Bah! Kids are spoiled these days. People act like they ain't ever had a nintendo NES with five pencils stuck in it, balanced on an open phonebook, with four crystals on top, and a chicken's foot tied to the power cord that will only work if you are reciting the Lord's Prayer in Aramiac while loading the game cartridge.

My 360 hiccups, I smack it. it works.

and the reason they say it is a floating number is many that were returned as "failed systems" worked when tested. Gamestop says the same, and I have seen several people bring it in to my friends and alot of them work, though the person says "it didn't work at my house."

So, yeah, I imagine the return rate is much higher than the *actual* failure rate, and thus it is a floating value.

LMFAO @ raum..!!!

Dude, I SO remember those days, having a book just the right height to hold your Nintendo cartridge in a certain way to that it would play, hahaha....

Like I said, I am impartial to either system...But he's right on this one, the customer service is what counts...Shit breaks...It happens...If I buy something from somewhere, and it breaks, I'm not pissed until I try to take it back and they give me shit about it...Sucks to not have it, but I'd prefer good CS myself in any situation...

I had 3 PS2's die on me, and Sony didn't or couldn't fix either one of them...Good ole Wal-Mart, heh...

haha... lol... what a totally evasive answer.

you invent a totally irrelevant story about a different system.

you say you don't have a problem with your xbox.

and you mention that some of the returned machines are not faulty.

is it addressing the unseen before high failure rate 360 still seems to experience?

hardly.

but well.
